Superintendent Wilson’s [RE]Blog: Lifting all students, focusing on their futures
Sometimes we get so busy in the day-to-day we have to look back to realize how much progress we’ve made. And WOW, have we made progress here at Tolles this spring!
When we launched our [RE]Think Tolles initiative this past February, our hope was to make progress around the four pillars of excellence:
1. Performance and Accountability
2. Organizational Efficiency and Resources
3. Technology and Innovation
4. Communications and Market Share
The 10 “wins” outlined on this site have moved us forward in each of these four pillars. Most importantly, all of these wins have direct student impact, are completely student-focused, have included staff feedback or involvement, and will help position Tolles as the career center of tomorrow and the choice of students and families in an increasingly competitive educational marketplace.
We have to keep our full focus on what is best for students, on what our new brand defines as lifting all students. It is their futures we are here for, after all. We are heading in the right direction and this initiative has helped move us ahead.
The momentum has just begun! Stay tuned for developments over the summer and next fall in our programming and branding. Through the hard work of staff and the amazing accomplishments of our students, Tolles is ready for lift off!
